Having become a brand in the academic field as one of Turkey’s oldest universities, Istanbul Technical University is now drawing a strategic framework around this deep experience with İTÜ Directorate of Communication.
Directorate of Communication aims to provide the necessary collaborations in order for İTÜ to steadily take place in top rows in academic rankings, create the sense of “being a part of the university” and togetherness between the students and the university, establish permanent and effective ties that will continue even after graduation, elevate the university’s student profile by making İTÜ even more attractive to successful students, improve İTÜ’s international identity by increasing the number of foreign students and academicians, as well as raise İTÜ’s international recognition and brand value through its work on increasing and diversifying the university’s incomes.
Our Directorate of Communication plays the leading role in creating an effective brand communication strategy for İTÜ. For this, it manages and coordinates projects for supporting our university’s national and international publicity through appropriate platforms and for our university heading toward its 250th year to attain an image compatible with its identity.
